Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Sunset Safari
Arrive at Hoedspruit Airport in the morning and join the group for a drive to a private safari camp in the heart of Greater Kruger National Park. Afternoon, settle into the camp and later embark on the first thrilling game drive, immersing yourself in the stunning savanna landscape. Get acquainted with your fellow adventurers while savoring a relaxing gin and tonic as the African sunset unfolds. In the evening, enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and soak in the sounds of the bush around the campfire.
Day 2: Game Drives and Leisure Time
Rise before dawn for an early morning game drive, focusing on predators most active at dawn. Pause for morning tea and coffee amidst nature’s beauty. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, followed by leisure time. Refresh in the pool, observe wildlife at the waterhole, indulge in birdwatching, or simply relax on the deck with a book or drink. In the afternoon, embark on another exhilarating game drive, seeking out iconic African animals in their natural habitat. As evening falls, gather around the campfire once again for a delicious home-cooked meal and the soothing sounds of the bush.
Day 3: Start Tented Trail
Begin the day with a final game drive before commencing the 4-day Tented trail. Following breakfast, prepare your bags and get transferred to the starting point of the tented trail. Meet the Trails guide, undergo a safety briefing, and embark on a short drive to the first trails camp. In the evening, our chef will prepare dinner on an open fire, creating a delightful meal enjoyed by candlelight. Relax around the campfire and gaze at the beautiful night sky.
Day 4: Tented Trail Adventure
Wake up before sunrise, pack your bags, and enjoy a quick breakfast before embarking on a walk towards our brunch spot. Explore the wilderness, tracking fresh signs of diverse wildlife. Brunch will be served at a beautiful viewpoint, after which we’ll be transported to the 2nd camp. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing shower and some leisure time. The group can opt for an afternoon walk or game drive. Gather around the campfire in the evening as the chef prepares a delicious dinner, sharing stories about the day’s adventures.

Day 5: Further Wilderness Exploration
Wake up with the sun after a peaceful night’s sleep, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and get ready for today’s adventure. Embark on a walk to the 3rd trails camp along the Olifants River, delving deeper into the wilderness and tracking new signs of diverse wildlife. Upon reaching the 3rd camp, indulge in a delightful brunch with a stunning view over the river while listening to the sounds of hippos in the water. In the afternoon, the group can choose between an afternoon walk or a game drive, exploring this section of the reserve along the river. As the day comes to an end, gather around the campfire to share stories about the day’s discoveries and savor our final dinner, expertly cooked on the open fire.
Day 6: Finish Tented Trail, Rhino Monitoring Experience
Begin your day with your final morning on the tented trail, packing your bags and enjoying a last walk or game drive before returning to civilization. In the afternoon, continue the safari with a Rhino Monitoring Experience. We start with an informative and educational presentation on rhino conservation, history, challenges, and possible solutions. After the presentation, we join an experienced team member on an exclusive Rhino Monitoring Drive, where we have the unique opportunity to search for the rhinos in their natural habitat. Appreciate a delightful cooked dinner in the evening and unwind for a restful night in your comfortable accommodation.
Day 7: Excursion to the breathtaking Panorama Route
After breakfast, depart for the stunning Panorama Route, renowned for its beautiful landscapes, impressive viewpoints, and natural attractions. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views, majestic waterfalls, deep gorges, and unique rock formations, including God’s Window, the Lisbon Falls, the Three Rondavels, and the Bourke’s Luck Potholes. Return in the evening to enjoy a delightful dinner and reflect on the week’s adventures.
Day 8: Excursion to Kruger National Park
Early in the morning, head towards Kruger National Park, known for its rich history and high density and diversity of wildlife, including the Big 5. Explore the diverse landscape, from mountains to plains and tropical forested areas. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner and discuss all the beautiful sightings in Kruger.
Day 9: Goodbye’s
Enjoy your last breakfast with the group. Pack your belongings and head to the airport to say goodbye to everyone. Fly back to Johannesburg or continue your journey, reflecting on the incredible moments and memories from your amazing safari.
