Camp and Reserve
Our camp is nestled along the shaded banks of the Blyde River, creating a tranquil safari retreat surrounded by the soothing presence of flowing water and trees. Carefully designed to minimize its environmental impact, our camp offers a serene setting for guests to unwind.
Featuring a spacious pool area with stunning river views, guests can relax on sun lounges or enjoy meals at tables overlooking the water’s edge. The heart of the camp boasts a bar, lounge area with a reading corner, dining space, and a large deck with comfortable outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying evenings by the crackling fire in our Boma.
Our culinary offerings blend sophistication with bush-style simplicity, offering guests a range of meals from bush breakfasts to three-course dinners. Throughout the camp, subtle African art accents the stylish decor, complementing the serene ambiance.
With WiFi available throughout and a dedicated team of friendly and passionate staff, our camp provides a welcoming haven for guests seeking a memorable safari experience.
Accommodation
Along the banks of the Blyde River, our camp offers a variety of accommodations to meet the diverse needs and preferences of our guests. In addition to the picturesque surroundings, we provide 6 canvas and wooden tent suites, elevated on wooden poles beneath the river trees. Each suite is carefully designed to provide a harmonious experience, allowing guests to enjoy their own balcony overlooking the river or the surrounding bushland.
Inside, the tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms featuring spacious showers, separated from the bedrooms by a roll-up canvas door. These intimate spaces provide a haven of comfort, where guests can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature around them. For larger groups or families, there are also two open tents available that can accommodate up to 4 people, with two single or double beds.
Excursions
Discover a world of adventure and exploration with our diverse excursion options. Embark on an exciting game drive in the Big Five Balule Reserve or explore the stunning Wild Rivers Reserve. For nature enthusiasts, we also offer guided bushwalks and you can discover the diverse bird species while birdwatching from the comfort of our camp.
